General registration and information will be available Friday from 1–10 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m.-noon and 2-8 p.m. in Corey Union, Room 209. Registration packets, tickets for events and reunion T-shirts may be picked up at the registration table. Class sign-in sheets will be available. If you need to be reached for emergency reasons only, the telephone number for the University Police Department is (607) 753-2111.

Reunion Fee
Your Reunion Fee helps defray some of the expenses of Alumni Reunion Weekend such as mailings, registration packets, food, shuttle busses and facility set-up. The early bird fee, paid by June 26, 2009, for each adult is $15. After June 26, the fee is $20. This cost is waived for Half Century Club Members – Class of 1959 and earlier. Guests of this group pay only $10.

Housing On Campus
If you would like to stay on campus during Alumni Reunion Weekend, you may reserve a room in the College’s newest, airconditioned residential facility, Glass Tower Hall. Rooms will be assigned by class year. Bathrooms are semi-private; two rooms share one bath. Bed linens will be provided by the Residence Life and Housing Office. Rooms are utilitarian in nature and many guests choose to bring their own alarm clocks, cell phones and fans. Guests are encouraged to bring their own towels. Smoking is prohibited inside and within 25 ft. of the residence hall. To make arrangements in advance for an individual with a disability, please call the Alumni Affairs Office at (607) 753-2516.

Friday, July 17: Noon-5 p.m. and 8-11 p.m.
Saturday, July 18: Noon-3 p.m.
Those checking in on Friday from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday morning, please pick up keys in Corey Union, Room 209, the location of Alumni Reunion Weekend registration.
Note: Alumni arriving anytime on Thursday, after 11 p.m. on Friday, or after 3 p.m. on Saturday should go to the University Police Office, Van Hoesen Hall, Room C-17.

Check-out times
Sunday, July 19: 9 a.m.-Noon
No refunds will be given for housing reservations after July 3, 2009.

Attire
Casual attire is suggested for all Alumni Reunion Weekend events.

Parking
Alumni may park in any parking lot on campus for Alumni Reunion Weekend. Those with special parking needs should contact the Alumni Affairs Office for directions and permits. If you must park, even for a short time, in a “no parking zone,” contact the University Police Department at (607) 753-4123 for advance permission. Guests must abide by regulations on streets under City of Cortland jurisdiction (Graham Ave. and Prospect Terrace). The new parking lot off Neubig Road is a pay lot. Rates will be posted at the entrance.

Dietary Restrictions
Individuals with dietary restrictions are asked to contact the Alumni Affairs Office in advance of reunion weekend so that accommodations may be made. Please call (607) 753-2516.

Events Requiring Tickets
Please see the registration packet for a complete listing of events requiring tickets. Tickets must be picked up at registration in Corey Union. Note: Due to space and food limitations, the Alumni Association cannot guarantee ticket availability the day of the event.

Alumni Luncheon Discount for Half Century Club Members
If you graduated with the Class of 1959 or a class before 1959, you are a member of the Half Century Club. As a member of this club, you will pay half price for your meal at the alumni luncheon on Saturday, July 18. The cost for Half Century Club members is $7.50. The luncheon cost for spouses and guests of Half Century Club members is $15

Alumni Weekend T-Shirts
The Alumni Association will offer an Alumni Reunion Weekend T-shirt. This white T-shirt is 100 percent cotton and features the reunion logo. For those unable to attend reunion, purchased T-shirts may be shipped for an extra $3.

College Store
The College Store, located in Neubig Hall, will be open:
Friday, July 17, 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 18, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Directions to Golf Tournament
The Golf Tournament will be held at Walden Oaks Country Club. Follow Route 13 South toward Ithaca. Just past K-Mart, turn left on Bennie Road. After approximately one mile, turn left onto Walden Oaks Boulevard. Follow Walden Oaks Boulevard to the clubhouse.

Child Care
Child care is not available. Arrangements should be made on your own. If you would like to receive a list of students who might be able to babysit, contact the SUNY Cortland Student Employment Service at (607) 753-2223.

Reunion Refund Policy
Based upon the reservations we receive for Alumni Reunion Weekend, we make commitments to caterers and vendors and are obligated to pay them accordingly. In the event that you need to cancel your reservation, your request must be received by the Alumni Affairs Office no later than noon on Friday, July 3, 2009. After that date, no refunds will be given.

Swimming, Racquetball and Tennis
The racquetball courts, the pool and the tennis courts outside of Park Center will be open to alumni on Friday, July 17 from 1-5 p.m. and Saturday, July 18 from 8-10 a.m. Alumni should plan to bring their own towels to the pool.

Accessibility
This reunion is being conducted at a location that meets the accessibility needs of individuals with disabilities unless otherwise specified. The ground level of the Alumni House is now accessible. A grant from New York State Senator Jim Seward helped to underwrite the cost of an accessible ramp that was installed this year. Please contact the Alumni Affairs Office at (607) 753-2516 for additional information or special assistance.

Shuttle Bus
A shuttle bus will be running to and from the Alumni House, Ramada Cortland, Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn, Quality Inn and Country Inn and Suites. Stops will be made at the Miller Building parking lot, Moffett Center and Corey Union. The shuttle will run on Friday, July 17, from 5-11:25 p.m. and Saturday, July 18, from 7:10 a.m.-noon and 2:10-11 p.m.

Alumni Association Fundraiser Raffle
Alumni have the opportunity to win great prizes while supporting the Alumni Association by purchasing tickets to our fundraiser raffle. In addition to the prizes listed below alumni apparel will also be raffled. Three tickets cost $10, six tickets are $15, and 10 tickets are $20. Attendance is not required to win. Thanks for supporting future reunions and good luck!

First Prize
$500.

Second Prize
A one-week stay for two at Raquette Lake. Spend a maximum of seven days and six nights at the College’s Antlers facility located on beautiful Raquette Lake in the heart of the Adirondacks. The stay includes all meals beginning with arrival-day dinner and concluding with Saturday’s breakfast. Lodging will be in a cabin, and meals are served on a schedule in the Antlers Dining Hall. Dates for this offering will be announced.
Value – $550.

Third Prize
A two-night stay at the Lynne Parks ’68 SUNY Cortland Alumni House during the 2009-2010 academic year. Enjoy a wonderful weekend in a magnificent house that is home to all Cortland alumni. The stay includes continental breakfasts and YMCA day
passes. Subject to availability; some blackout dates will be applied.

Please order tickets by filling out the appropriate raffle ticket section on the registration form and include with your total payment due. Your raffle tickets will be completed by Alumni Affairs Office personnel. The Alumni Affairs Office will keep the half of the ticket with your name and address, and will contact you if your ticket is drawn for a prize. Tickets will be drawn and announced during the Saturday, July 18, alumni luncheon in Corey Union. You do not need to be present to win.

Class Photos
The Alumni Affairs Office has contracted with Isaf-Merkur Photography for class pictures. Please see the reunion registration packet for a complete photo schedule.

Class of 1959 Hospitality Suite
The Reunion Committee members for our golden anniversary class have arranged a hospitality suite for their classmates at their headquarters, the Hampton Inn. Please join in the festivities even if you are not staying at the hotel.
Thursday, July 16: 7-11 p.m.
Friday, July 17: Immediately following the class dinner until 11 p.m.
Saturday, July 18: Immediately following the class dinner until 11 p.m.
